Objective


  • To take over and administer the Human and Organizational Potential Enhancement (HOPE) program.
  • To provide technical assistance and physical facilities to other o rganizations and persons with similar objectives to conduct trainings, seminars, symposiums and cultural events.
  • The trust may engage in income generating and profit making initiatives, but none of the income and profit shall be distributed to the trustees who shall render voluntary service and any sort of income generated out of activities of the trust program would utilized to attain the goal of the trust and in that sense the trust shall be no-profit and voluntary organization.
  • To address the needs of the people of Bangladesh in the spirit of Ecumenism by demonstrating love to all human being irrespective of cast, creed or race.
  • To work for the enhancement of the existing and building of new capacities of CCDB staff, member of sister and like-minded organizations and other NGO’s promoting people centered, participatory and sustainable development within Bangladesh in particular and in South Asia in general.
  • To help, strengthen and build the human resources for the country towards becoming a self-propagating, self-governing and as far as possible self-supporting.
  • To provide development education to all the members of the target groups and to enhance the knowledge and skills needed by development actors to face the contemporary and future challenges of socio-economic development.
  • To conduct training courses including capacity building on various issues, seminars, symposiums, workshops relating to development activities as well as facilitate exposure visits and field visits.
  • To provide support and administer social centers and other social institutions of similar nature and to develop strong team of facilitators/ trainers.
  • To purchase land, buildings and acquire immovable property in Bangladesh as the situation arises subject to the approval of the Trustee Board to attain the subjective of the trust and later on to take over the immovable property including, building, land, etc. under the HOPE Foundation, Baroipara, Savar, Dhaka by way of gift, donation whatsoever.
  • To construct or building structure by way of new erections, renovations, improvements, extension of any part or parts thereof to meet the purpose of the trust.
  • To print, publish and exhibit films, periodicals, books, lectures and other reading and pictorial matters in the tune with the ideas of the trust.
  • To hold and conduct classes, lectures, conference, seminars and competitions to provide scholarships, conferences, in training fees, diplomas, certificate on Human Resource Development and awards as and when necessary.
  • To raise fund in cash or otherwise and to receive any gift, donation or fund in cash or other movable property of all types and descriptions and immovable property and to use the same for achieving the objectives of the trust.
  • To play an advocacy role on crucial issues of development in close collaboration with national and international organizations, like-minded and networking agencies.
  • To subscribe and give donations and to give aid to any other charity financially or otherwise.
  • To invest and deal with money of the trust in such a manner at the discretion of the Board of Trustees may dispose, realize or vary the terms of the such investments as may have been made and lend money and properties of the Trust with security and on such terms and conditions as may be deemed expedient for the purpose of advancing the objectives of this trusts.
  • To do all lawful acts deeds and things those are essential or conductive to the attainment of any or all objectives of the Trust.
  • To form Executive Committee, Advisory Committee or any other Committee that may become necessary from time to time.
  • To make arrangements for obtaining visa or any other relevant papers needed to accommodate, appointment of resource persons/ expatriates/ consultants for the Trust along with their respective associates undertaken by HOPE Training Center for better and efficient management of the Trust.
  • To open and operate bank accounts (s) in any or more than one schedule bank in Bangladesh in the name of the Trust.
  • To frame any other laws, by-laws for this Trust as deemed necessary.
  • The Trust reserves the rights to register itself under any law(s) of Bangladesh including Societies Registration Act 1860 at any point of time as deemed necessary.
  • That the issue not mentioned in this deed would be resolved within the ambit of the Trust Act 1882.
